Its been awhile since our last update. The holidays were great and we hope everyone has been having a great new year. Congrats to Bill L of Nebraska on winning our raffle last month.

We've been pinging up and down the google search engine results and have yet to stabalize on a position. Our site redesign is done and we are looking to update the front page layout a little bit. This should happen within the next week.

A lot of e-cigarette related plans coming up in 2010. Its oing to be a good year for smokers.

After about a week of work site updates are complete. We have one more feature to add that we hope will ease the checkout process of the store. If you have any ideas or input feel free to drop us a line at support@ecigazon.com. In the coming months we have some other efforts coming to help support the Electronic Cigarette Community. We hope to have these complete by end of year. We plan to move our store blog in a few months too.

New Website look

This week we will be changing the look and feel of the website. Mostly this will be to improve navigating through the site and make it a bit more user friendly. These changes should take effect before Dec 1st.

We will then be updating the URL locations to make the main page be the first level of users see.

We are also creating more content and updating some of our features like our ecig savings calculator.

Óbama Holiday Gift

The wonders of Health Care Reform. We've been following the health care debate for the past few months, but what we've really been wondering is How is Obama's smoking addiction going. Is he quit? One Cig per day? One pack a day, 2 packs per day? Who really knows.

A reported asked him a few months ago and he said he was 95% quit. We would like to see that be 100% quit, at least from tobacco cigarettes and hopefully our gift reaches the commander in chief so he can switch to the no tar method of smoking.

He is concerned about the health of america, but is he concerned about his own? Sure he is! He just needs a push in the right direction.

New Landing Page

We've temporarily taken away some of the functionality and product offerings from the front page. we've also altered the landing page for ecigzon.com to be a bit more buyer friendly. Some users were having problems navigating and deciding the various models.

While we still plan to sell all models in the future. We've decided to limit our offerings during the holidays to the 510 and 4081. These models seem to be ideal for new customers and there are so many manufacturers of these models they are easy to get back in stock/refill.

With that in mind we've removed many of these models from the store front along with various parts for the models. This is a temporary change and we plan on re-enabling these models on the store front after the holidays.

Moving Up the Rankings

The site has only been up a few weeks now since switching to the new domain and we are already ranking for a few key search terms on yahoo and google. We have a few more things planned to up or SEO and page rank, and those will be coming in the next few months, but hopefully we can maintain and enhance the site content and product offerings for our customers.

We have something planned for the holiday week and hope it makes some inroads for getting these devices into the hands of as many smokers as possible. Only time will tell!

Marketing Campaign

In the next few weeks we plan to launch a new marketing campaign. Hopefully it will create some buzz for the Ecig community, but it might simply fall flat. Who knows. We like the idea, and we are hoping other current Ecig users and current smokers will too.

While we have the domain name for proecig,com and proecig.org we are looking to build the proecig community through all social media sites on the internet. In the interim we have setup a site dedicated to the proecig agenda on ning.

It's another social media site, but focuses on the group and not the individual. We still will be using our facebook wall for ecigazon. Which as you may know has some integration with our online store and allows us to send you updates on your order status among other things.
